Dr. Paul J. MacKoul, MD
Dr. Paul MacKoul, co-founder of The Center for Innovative GYN Care, graduated from medical school at Tufts University. He also completed his residency in OBGYN at the University of Maryland, and his fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of North Carolina. In 2012, Dr. MacKoul was named a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Designated Surgeon. He has been named a Top Doctor multiple times by the Washingtonian Magazine as well as Northern Virginia Magazine.
Dr. Natalya E. Danilyants, MD
Dr. Natalya Danilyants, co-founder of The Center for Innovative GYN Care, received her fellowship training in Advanced Retroperitoneal Laparoscopic Surgery through the exclusive Johnson & Johnson/Ethicon Endo-Surgery (EES) fellowship program. Dr. Danilyants was accepted into the EES program after completing her residency at the George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She was honored to receive a Patient’s Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Recognition by her patients for her excellent care and compassionate bedside manner.
Dr. Faraj E. Touchan, MD
Faraj Touchan, MD, joined CIGC in 2019. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and FLS certified by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Touchan graduated from the Aleppo University Medical School in Syria and completed his residency at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY, where he was appointed Chief Resident. He enjoys teaching and was an associate professor at the University at Buffalo. Currently, he is a laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery mentor in the RWJBarnabas residency program.
Abayomi Walker, NP
Abayomi Walker is a board-certified women’s healthcare nurse practitioner who joined CIGC in 2018. She has over 10 years of experience related to gynecology, obstetrics, and maternal child health. She has a particular interest in complex gynecological disorders such as fibroids, abnormal bleeding, and endometriosis. She is deeply committed to empowering women with information so that they can make informed decisions regarding their health.
