Peter Balazs, MD, FACOG, is a Board Certified GYN who joined The Center for Innovative GYN Care® (CIGC) in 2022. A Fellow of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Balazs has extensive post-graduate training that makes him a valuable addition to our team.

Positions
Dr. Balazs received his medical degree from Semmelweis University in Hungary before completing his OBGYN Resident Program at Mount Sinai School of Medicine. His professional affiliations include the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
Before joining CIGC, Dr. Balazs served as a faculty member and attending OBGYN at Paterson, New Jersey’s St. Joseph Regional Medical Center. He was also the Chief OBGYN resident at Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
His post-graduate training includes programs like Cosmetic Options for the Hysterectomy Patient and Pelvic Anatomy and Gynecologic Surgery Symposium (PAGS) and Hysteroscopy workshop.
Dr. Balazs has recently been awarded the Focused Practice Designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
