The Center for Innovative GYN Care is an advanced laparoscopic GYN surgical practice. Our fellowship-trained specialists perform state-of-the art minimally invasive techniques for complex GYN conditions.
World-Renowned Laparoscopic GYN Surgeons
The Center for Innovative GYN Care (CIGC) was founded in 2001 by the world-renowned laparoscopic surgical specialists Paul MacKoul, MD and Natalya Danilyants, MD. The advanced laparoscopic DualPortGYN® and LAAM® tehniques were developed to improve surgical outcomes for women, providing a revolutionary approach to GYN surgery. Our innovative techniques simplify even the most complicated procedures for complex GYN conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis. Due to exceptional patient outcomes, these techniques have been published in prestigious medical journals such as The Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology Research, The Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology, and American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
The CIGC practice has an established travel program that makes it possible for women to travel from around the world for our state-of-the-art techniques. Our travel program makes traveling long distances for GYN surgery as seamless as possible.
Why We’re Different
The CIGC Specialists
Only Perform GYN Surgery
Our focus is our strength. Since we only perform laparoscopic surgery, we are able to provide exceptional results, helping patients avoid more invasive open and robotic procedures.
By comparison, an OBGYN focuses on obstetrics, not surgery. GYN surgery is a small portion of their practice, limiting their ability to improve their skills. Few OBGYNs have advanced laparoscopic training. As a result, too many women are only offered open or robotic procedures to treat complex conditions like large fibroids, an enlarged uterus or ovarian cysts. These procedures have larger incisions, more pain and a longer recovery, and have higher risks of complications than CIGC laparoscopic procedures.
We Are Your Second Opinion
Our surgical outcomes speak volumes. Women with fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, unresolved abnormal menstrual bleeding or pelvic pain have superior results with our laparoscopic outpatient procedures. The incisions are small, and placed strategically within the midline. Pain is minimized, so women are back to themselves faster.
Women Travel From Around The World For The CIGC Difference
The CIGC practice has an established travel program that makes it possible for women to travel from around the world for our state-of-the-art techniques.
Meet The CIGC Co-Founders
The world-renowned laparoscopic GYN surgical specialists Paul MacKoul, MD and Natalya Danilyants, MD developed the DualPortGYN and LAAM techniques used at The Center for Innovative GYN Care (CIGC). CIGC was founded in 2001 with these advanced techniques. Their combined expertise in retroperitoneal dissection and uterine artery ligation makes hysterectomy (removal of the uterus), myomectomy (removal of fibroids), ovarian cystectomy and surgical treatment for other complex conditions as safe and efficient outpatient procedures, using just two small incisions.
The focus on patient experience is what sets our practice apart. The DualPortGYN and LAAM techniques were developed to improve GYN surgical procedures, decreasing the amount of time patients spend under anesthesia, minimizing the risk of complications during and after surgery, and reducing patient recovery time.
The attention given to each patient’s condition is the result of decades of experience and thousands of procedures.
