Dr. Faraj E. Touchan, MD, joined The Center for Innovative GYN Care® (CIGC®) in 2019. He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and FLS certified by the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Touchan graduated from the Aleppo University Medical School in Syria and completed his residency at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY, where he was appointed Chief Resident. He enjoys teaching and was an associate professor at the University at Buffalo. Currently, he is a laparoscopic and minimally invasive surgery mentor in the RWJBarnabas residency program.
Dr. Touchan has a special interest in minimally invasive GYN surgery and has performed thousands of surgeries for conditions such as fibroids and endometriosis, as well as urogynecologic and infertility procedures.
