LAAM® - Laparoscopic Myomectomy

Women of childbearing age who have fibroids can have them removed effectively with a CIGC advanced laparoscopic myomectomy procedure LAAM-BUAO® (or LAAM-BUAL). The LAAM technique was developed by The Center for Innovative GYN Care® fibroid removal specialists. This technique is a hybrid of the best elements of laparoscopic and open approaches for myomectomy. LAAM can accommodate most fibroids large and small.

CIGC approach to myomectomy is one of the most advanced techniques for maintaining fertility, and has been very successful for the removal of fibroids in thousands of patients.

Discover if you are a candidate for this advanced uterine-sparing technique. For many patients, if the uterus is damaged or fertility is extremely low, LAAM is not recommended. LAAM is only performed on patients who are able to retain fertility, and is performed at the discretion of the surgeon.

It’s time to talk to a CIGC laparoscopic fibroid removal specialist and take back control of your life!

The CIGC GYN Laparoscopic Fibroid Removal Advantage

The CIGC laparoscopic myomectomy specialists perform some of the most minimally invasive fibroid surgery procedures for complex cases as same-day outpatient procedures. Patients typically recover in 10-14 days with exceptional outcomes.

LAAM Has Exceptional Patient Outcomes

LAAM outperforms standard laparoscopic and robotic techniques for thorough removal of fibroids. Other laparoscopic techniques are often limited in their ability to detect small fibroids that can continue to grow after the surgery, or may not be able to removal all fibroids due to concerns over blood loss during the procedure. If fibroids are left behind, they can affect fertility, cause pain and heavy bleeding.

LAAM also outperforms open fibroid removal procedures for faster recovery. Open procedures use large incisions, either vertically or horizontally across the abdomen. Recovery time for open procedures can be up to 8 weeks, compared to 10-14 days for LAAM.

I had the LAAM procedure. I am 7 days post surgery and I can honestly say I am stunned at how good I feel today! I could have gone back to work three days ago if it wasn't for the nature of my work. I feel excellent!! Please if you are on the fence about this procedure, just do it! You will not have any regrets!
