Lauren Scott, C.P.T., RYT

Physical Training

Lauren Scott is passionate about helping people reconnect with how their bodies were meant to move. After graduating summa cum laude from Northeastern University with a bachelor’s degree in East Asian studies, she developed an interest in alternative modalities of healing. She later discovered the magic of exercise and its role in fostering emotional well-being while looking for ways to combat clinical depression. Today, Lauren is a personal trainer certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She is also an RYT-200 certified yoga teacher and a CHEK Institute holistic lifestyle coach. She trained as a functional aging specialist and as a tai chi instructor through the Functional Aging Institute. Lauren aims to integrate personal training, yoga and tai chi with individualized coaching in order to help her clients live more authentic, healthy and fulfilling lives. She believes that proper form, alignment and mastery of primal movement patterns are keys not only to bodily health but also to spiritual realization. She loves being able to help people reclaim their physical capabilities and confidence. Lauren doesn’t care how old you are or what limitations you may have—she knows you can and will make gains!
