Dr. Salome Masghati, MD, FACOG is a board-certified gynecologist. She is fellowship-trained in minimally invasive gynecology surgery and has received supplemental training in the DualPortGYN® and LAAM® techniques by Drs. Mackoul and Danilyants.

Dr. Masghati is a pelvic pain expert with special interest in fibroids and endometriosis as well as infertility. She is passionate about the treatment of menopausal and hormonal problems, sexual dysfunction, PCOS and vulvodynia. Dr. Masghati approaches patients in a holistic approach, including nutritional and lifestyle aspects in her treatment plan. She has expertise in bioidentical hormone treatment as well as functional medicine.

Dr. Masghati received her two-year fellowship training in minimally invasive gynecology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical University of Vienna in Austria and completed her internship at UCLA and completed her residency at the Adventist hospital White Memorial in Los Angeles, CA.

Experience

Prior to joining CIGC, Dr. Masghati served as a virtual physician consultant through My Virtual Physician. She also worked as a clinical research fellow and research coordinator at the Women’s Health Clinical Research Unit at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, UCLA. Dr. Masghati also worked at UCLA’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a research assistant for the mutation analysis of ovarian cancer.
